VA • Swing-A-Ling (2000) Reggae Got Soul

Comme avant lui le Jazz Jamaïcain, le Ska ou le Rocksteady,
à la fin des 60's le Reggae est à l'écoute de l'Afro-American Music.
La Soul aura une part essentielle dans cette influence :
musicale, avec les voix, les harmonies, les productions Motown, Stax,
et politique, à travers les textes portés par le Civil Rights Movement.
Référence majeure, Curtis Mayfield a fortement marqué le Reggae.

It's Allright... et du Gypsy Woman par The Uniques : irrésistible !
